Yes, adding debugfs support is still an open and wanted item for the amdxdna driver. Your plan to keep the patches small and test them against mainline is exactly the right approach. You might also want to check the amdxdna repo in github. :) I'm no longer working at AMD. It will be good that contact Lizhi. So that you can align with AMD.
