Can't recreate the identical symptom using either nouveau/intel/udl or even
intel/udl, which would seem to suggest it isn't actually a bug in udl or even
modesetting in general.

There are bugs with nouveau and intel, but the symptoms are obviously different
and I'm guessing I should file seperate bug reports.
