Somewhat unrelated and only semi-topical, but the combination of
2.4.2-ac26, Mercury's CVS DRI Debian packages, and a bt878 gives me lines
in the picture as it moves. Has anyone else seen this problem? DRI is
disabled in the server because of all of the problems I've had with it. I
don't know if it was a change in the kernel or in the X server that caused
it since I was changing both at the same time trying to get the Radeon
working stably.
I don't have the v4l module loaded as I was told it's kinda experimental
and not required. I would expect that it's more likely a kernel issue
than X, but if someone else has seen it, I figure there would be a message
or two on l-k about it.
