I recently upgraded to gcc 2.95.3 from RH 6.2's 2.91.66, and have
stumbled across what looks like a compiler bug.  Certainly, the fact
that the trunk code with Glide 3 from CVS used to work, and now
segfaults in the guts of _grValidateState() (and the asm code looks
plain wrong where the segfault occurs).  This has slowed all of my work
on the tdfx driver(s), and I'll spend a bit of time looking into it
before I just go back to an earlier version of gcc.
