Works fine (almost) here under linux.
o 2.4.4-ac5
o Debian Woody
o ATI Radeon 64 DDR
o VIA VT82C686b & VT8363/VT8365 ...
Yesterday I ran in to problem : rebooted from linux to win 98. Played
Unreal Tournament. Then booted back to linux - and here we go, linux
ether randomly crashed, or lots of defuncs processes appears ...
The same with older kernel that I ran and had no problems at all ! ...
6h down the drain and I still got no clue. Solution was simple,
reset & clear BIOS'es ... Of course after that I had to set some values
manually. Now it works !!! as used ... at least no crashes.
So now my questions :
o reboot to win 98
o play unreal tournament
[ What did VIA drivers "fixed" ... that it rendered in unstable linux ?]
o reboot to linux
o random crashes and so ... not speaking about 3D stuff :(
[ reset/clear bios ]
o now works again as it used ...
Otherwise :
There are some problems with loki demos - for example descent 3. Doesn't
render correctly. Other things I noticed - try running Evas demo (evas_test)
there are tree modes of running it :
o software rendering
o hardware rendering (works just fine. The rendered content -
i.e. background doesn't look so go)
o X11 of course it works ...
o guake 3 arena runs ... haven't played it much though
