Right, but I don't think I'm seeing the problem other people are. As
I understand it we have had persistent problems with DRI over Irongate
GART locking up 30 seconds or so after starting intensive graphics
use.
What I'm seeing is totally unlike that --- the system is rock solid
if it gets past card initialisation, which it manages about 25% of the
time. The lockup, when it occurs, happens even if I don't have the
agpgart.o module loaded or if I haven't loaded the drm. There is no
problem driving the agp bus: it is *only* card initialisation which
ever fails for me.
