Good point - I have X4.1.0 and kernel 2.4.5, and no DRI with my Radeon under Linux. 2.4.5 gives me radeon.o in /lib/modules/blah X4.1.0 gives me a radeon_drv.o somewhere in /usr/X11R6/lib insmod /path/to/it/radeon_drv.o doesn't do anything, insmod radeon.o works, but only is version 1.0.0, not 1.1.x How do you force/specify the X module instead of the kernel one?
