I don't know anything about the G450 but AFAIK the problem with G200/G400
is that the chips don't do scatter-gather DMA and thus need a large
chunk of memory reserved. utah-glx used a hack with the "mem=" switch for
the kernel. IMHO it was just fine although some newbie friendly people
might disagree :)
