Generally the trunk is the best bet. That's the code that we believe is
stable and working.
There are a variety of branches which will have more experimenal
code. Some may be ready for testing, others may not even compile. In
general the developer(s) working on that branch will post on dri-devel
to let people know if or how they want people to use the branches.
