There is no Radeon DRI support in the XFree86 that shipped with
Red Hat Linux 7.1, as XFree86 did not have such support at that
time.

Radeon DRI support is available only in XFree86 4.1.0 and later.
RPM packages of XFree86 4.1.0 are available in rawhide at:

        ftp://rawhide.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/rawhide

The latest Red Hat Linux test packages, which are often newer
than the rawhide releases, are always available on my personal
ftp space at:

        ftp://people.redhat.com/mharris/testing/bleeding-edge

You need to grab the matching Mesa, Xconfigurator, and other
updated packages as well. There will be errata releases for RHL
7.1 of 4.1.0 plus required other packages. No specific timeline
planned yet other than when it is ready however.

Hope this helps.
