We disabled PEX and XIE for a while in rawhide test builds once
it was disabled in the trunk. The only reported application
during that time that broke was Mozilla. The XIE code is no
longer in Mozilla, or is disabled by default, and has been in
all builds for the greater part of this year anyway.

Unless one has some ancient software that requires XIE or PEX, I
wouldn't worry about it.
