Hello! I have a new Dell OptiPlex GX240 with a "ATI Rage 128 Ultra"-card (based on the Rage 128 chipset).
The strange thing is that I have not found any information about this card on ATI's webpages. The only information about it is on Dell's webpages (http://docs.us.dell.com/docs/video/rage128/en/index.htm). I know that this card is not supported (according to http://dri.sourceforge.net/status.phtml), but I tried it out anyway (on my RedHat 7.2 installation). When I run glxinfo I get the following result (see below). It seems to be normal. When I try to run glxgears everything freeze. Nothing happens. The only thing to do is to manually reset the computer and boot up again. Have somebody else tried this card (with the same or different result)? Is there anyone working on getting this card to work (is there some way I can help)?
