I finally made it! I have a working mach64 dri on my compaq laptop(chipset mobility M1). But the gears of glxgears look like hollowed out, and all 3D games (tried tuxracer,tuxkart,doom legacy,gltron,open universe) are all messed up. I'll try to explain: for example in tuxracer I only get half of the speed number, like that:

(the lower triangle) and I only get half triangles of earth in open universe.
I guess that's a simple setting to change, but which?
(all worked with utah-glx but X3.3 lacks XV, and automatic screen res detection)
Also, my graphical login won't work anymore: it looks like it tries to launch, but at
the 3rd time fall back to normal login.
But it's less important since I still know how to type startx
