The job is just to keep your CVS tree up to date with all the drivers, build it all (and report any problems), and release make releases to the download page at regular intervals. It isn't a tough job. We even had people make the packaging tools a while back. All it takes is some bandwidth and cycles, which could be run in the middle of the night.
