This release is for ALPHA testing
This is a 'driver suite only' update built from the DRI tcl-0-0-branch
with two patches added for XFree86 4.1 compatability.
WARNING this is an ALPHA quality driver and install package, not
intended for a production environment.
Installation Instructions
Download the latest driver tarball from ftp://ftp.tungstengraphics.com/dri
unpack with 'tar xzvf <driver tar ball>'
change to dripkg directory 'cd tripkg'
make sure you're root user 'su'
run install script'./install.sh'
The install script will step you thrue all the needed steps. If the script
reports it can not compile the kernel DRM module, you can proceed with your
older Radeon DRM module; however, the driver will revert into a compatability
mode and hardware TCL will not be supported.
'./install.sh restore' should reinstate your previously installed radeon
driver suite.
This package has only been tested in the following environments:

Any feedback on other environments where this binary package does or does
not work are welcome.
