7500's aren't working with the driver in at least two different ways.  The
first is the 'black window' problem - depth clears aren't working, the lockups
are yet to be investigated.

ATI shipped me a radeon 7500 at the end of last week, but social engagements
and a wrong guess at the source of the problems have slowed me down somewhat. 
I currently don't have access to a M6, but hopefully the 7500 fixes will help
there too.
