Tony, I've just commited a simple change to remove the AGP requirement in the mach64-0-0-3-branch, as suggested by Michel. This is rather preliminary and I'm not sure if it's enough to get it running on a PCI Mach64.
Unfortunately I have agpgart statically linked in the kernel and not as a module so it's not easy to me to test it - recompiling the kernel is something that I really didn't want to do so soon, therefore I ask you to see if you experience any advance. If you don't have the tree checked out you can try the next snapshot.
