Yeah, I suspected as much.  This damned computer has given me quite a bit

Well, 2D works fine with the regular non-3D ati driver.

So far, the machine has been great for networking, disk, and CPU speed
(dual P3s).  It was very cheap (I guess I get what a paid for).  Any
attempt to get USB or 3D working has failed.  Ugh.

:)  Well, 3D support is more or less a "bonus" for me.  What I really want 
to see is Xv support.  Any idea when/if that will happen for the 2D 
portion of the driver?

Well, at least there's a test for it in the kernel.  Using USB just 
hard-locks the system.  But that's for a whole different list.  ;)

Thanks for the info.  Is there any way to tell if this LE chipset happens 
to have magically fixed the off-by-1 problem?
