About 3 months ago I wrote to the dri-users list after getting DRI working with my Mach64 equiped notebook PC. The only reply I received was smart#@! remark. Below is the text of the message, now that I know where to ask, maybe I can get an answer...
I've just built the DRI-Mach64 driver with XFree86-4.2. 3D rendering looks great, 2D is really slow. I'm running KDE-2.2.1 (and XF86-4.2) on and HP Notebook with the Rage Mobility P/M chip. Is there a way to have good 3D and 2D performance together? Thanks, Rick Knight ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Jos Fonseca wrote: > To all those that are using or attempted to use the mach64 snapshots and > posted on the *dri-users* list, > > As I was browsing the dri-users lists I just recentely noticed several > posts regarding the Mach64 branch and its snapshots.
