Yes, I see it.

In fact I see it even though (a) my kicker panel autohides so that in
principle nothing on screen is updated (b) the app I ran runs
fullscreen.

Basically running billiard-gl and just watching the intro table rotating
and there's a noticable pause every second, switching the clock to
'fuzzy' so it just said 'weekend!' and the pool table at the beginning
smoothly rotates around.
