That would be correct.  The DRM is intended for the 300 series of display 
chips (which figure in the 630/730 motherboard chipsets...).  SiS produced 
the code handed it off to the community without access to the information to 
improve/repair the code and then dropped support of the same.  They're 
annoyingly uncommunicative about programming information for the 3D portions 
of the chips (I happen to have 2D and MPEG decode support info under NDA, but 
not the 3D stuff.  While I could probably hack some improvements to that 
situation, I'm not as inclined because I've got no info on the tuning, etc. 
of the 3D support.)
