Sorry that this is late but I am behind in my reading of the list.
Original Radeons: Radeon VE (no TCl) Radeon SDR Radeon DDR / LE Rereleased Radeons: Radeon 7000 (no TCl) Radeon 7200 (SDR) Radeon 7500 (DDR) The only differences are more RAM and higher clock speeds (possible because of a manufacturing process shrink) on the 7X00 cards. You also get fancy versions of most of these cards eg VIVO, AIW, etc, this is just added functionality ie stick on a tv tuner, a couple of chips. The reason for the renaming is to simplify matters for end users bigger number = better / faster. Furthermore 7X00 denotes a R100 based card and 8X00 denotes a R200 based card. I don't think this needs to go on the website, and now that I've brought that up, how is it coming along Ian? <g> Liam ---- it depends ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek We have stuff for geeks like you. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Dri-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel
