Hi! here is my problem: I was using the drm drivers wich comes with the 2.4.19 kernel (1.1.1), it was workig "right" exept fo this:
(II) RADEON(0): Using 8 MB AGP aperture it looks like it is only using 8Mb and my has 64Mb (glxgear only gives 480FPS). The real problem started when I updated yesterday, when I xinit the screen gets black and when I ctrl+alt+F* the screen keeps black, but when I ctrl+alt+supr the system reboots, the system is working but the video card looks shuted down. mysystem: linux2.4.19, XFree86 4.2.1, AMD Athlon XP 1600+, Asus A7v266-e mb, and of course ati radeon "7000" with 64 mb of memory. tanks for your help.
