Daniel,
I was responsible for the original simFUSION systems at E&S but haven't
worked there for several years. As I recall, shortly after I left, E&S
contract Intelligraphics to develop Linux drivers for the OpenSIM 3000
and 4000 cards. Intellegraphics used dri for their driver work. I know
of no production release of this work.

Are you hoping to see a dri driver for the RealImage based cards? I
haven't yet looked at Intelligraphics' code and don't have access to
hardware so I can't give you an estimate for what it would take to
complete the work.

It's always exciting to hear of interest in simFUSION. I personally
invested a lot of blood, sweat, and tears in that product. Please send
more specific questions if you have them.

Cheers,
Mark
