No, unfortunately it does not.
I am currently running a kernel with DRM built from XFree86-4.2.99.902 and
it still locks up reliably. 'radeon_state.c' is identical to the one in DRI
trunk.
I've already been testing quite a few patches that have been floating around
in 'dri-devel' and you would have heard me shouting out loud if one of them
would had solved the lockup-issue  ;-)
