Not really, a TCL branch was started with a load of new paths, which meant the patch was out of date, and as there was nothing that used it (and a bunch of other bugs that did stop things working) I didn't see the point at that time of worrying about it - it was 90% cut and paste of what the driver does with textures 0 and 1 anyway.
