That's good to know - that it's not just me!

I have managed to get everything working now!! 3D acceleration with no freezing
up when moving/resizing windows, and alt-tab works fine now!

I did a fresh install of redhat 9 (what I had on before, but I couldn't figure
out the problem), I then installed the xfree86 cvs again and the problem came
straight back! Luckily I made a backup of the /usr/X11R6 folder this time, so I
could restore the original setup - which worked. Then I tried using only the
dri-cvs. Acceleration came, no more freezing, and alt-tab works fine!!!

So to conclude... If anyone else can't stand the alt-tab not working, or the
freezing of windows when moving/resizing an opengl window, then get yourself the
dri-cvs instead (note that you'll have to apply the patch manually, as it
doesn't apply cleanly - unless I missed something!).
