------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-21-08 18:53 ------- That's good to know - that it's not just me! I have managed to get everything working now!! 3D acceleration with no freezing up when moving/resizing windows, and alt-tab works fine now! I did a fresh install of redhat 9 (what I had on before, but I couldn't figure out the problem), I then installed the xfree86 cvs again and the problem came straight back! Luckily I made a backup of the /usr/X11R6 folder this time, so I could restore the original setup - which worked. Then I tried using only the dri-cvs. Acceleration came, no more freezing, and alt-tab works fine!!! So to conclude... If anyone else can't stand the alt-tab not working, or the freezing of windows when moving/resizing an opengl window, then get yourself the dri-cvs instead (note that you'll have to apply the patch manually, as it doesn't apply cleanly - unless I missed something!). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.xfree86.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: VM Ware With VMware you can run multiple operating systems on a single machine.
