I have a working MiniGLX implementation for CLE266, based on Alan Cox's Jav 04 driver source. Any one who wants to try it can email me for a copy.
Mesa CVS seems to have the way driver interface is initialized recently (from about two weeks ago).
The changes are relatively minor. Let me know if you have questions.
I will need to spend a few more days to update my code. After that maybe some one can help me get it into Mesa CVS.
