hello,
I don't know if it's the right place to ask but I have a small question:

My kernel is compiled with gcc-2.95.3 (as recommanded in the kernel README).
Isn't it better to compile X with the same gcc version? especially because the
kernel will load the module radeon.o (for example).

If so how can I specify the path (for me it is /opt/gcc-2.95.3/bin/gcc) when I
build with
> make World
should I do a
> make World "CC=/opt/gcc-2.95.3/bin/gcc" instead? or should I put the path into
a config file? host.def or site.def?

Thanks for reply
cheers
