Just downloaded the UT2004 demo, and tried it out under XFree86-4.3.99.902.
I'm pleasantly surprised.
It runs quite nicely, and I can't spot any rendering bugs ( though I wasn't looking closely - I was more interested in shooting at things ). Anyway, congrats to all those responsible for the Radeon driver!
One small issue I have is with the menu text. It's very blurry, and very hard to read. It looks a bit like the text has been shrunk to a very small size, and then blown back out to original size again. But it also just looks a bit ... 'blurry'.
Has anyone tried UT2004 out yet, and if so, what card & what version of XFree are you using, and do your menus display properly?

I'm running XFree 4.3.0.1 + Dri/Mesa checkout from 31-01-2004 with r200_newlight.diff , textrectfix.diff and s3tc patches on a rv280 card . Performance is good. Menu's look fine. I let it run for an hour in spectate mode. No problems at all.
