I am also seeing this problem. To be precise, the r200-20040303 snapshot from
freedesktop.org works without any problems, but from 20040304 until 20040313,
it is broken for GL apps.

Each time glxinfo or glxgears is run, the following message appears in
XFree86.0.log:

(II) RADEON(0): [drm] Could not create dummy context

I am using the akpm version of DRM built into the kernel (ie. not a module, not
changing between snapshots), and the XFree86 binary from freedesktop on a
Fedora rawhide box. Radeon 9200.

Linux version 2.6.4-mm1 () (gcc version 3.3.3 20040216 (Red Hat Linux
3.3.3-2.1))
