I don't see much benefit of the DRM code being in any X tree. On the
contrary, I think it rather increases the support burden by increasing
the chance of people running outdated code. I think the priority should
be well-maintained DRM code in the kernels, so ideally people shouldn't
have to worry about it at all. Failing that, they can now get the real
deal from us easily.

Just my opinion, if someone wants to put in the effort, that's fine with
me.
