I've now implemented the DRM os-abstraction macros from drm_os_linux.h throughout the driver and, from what I can see, there is no linux specific stuff left.
My idea is therefore to check in the driver under "shared", but update only the linux makefiles until *BSD compatibility can be tested.
Would you like me to create a separate branch for this stuff or go directly for the trunk?
