Hi,
I've a Radeon M7 running at 800x600-32bit, and have built solo and
X/DRI drivers out of the same tree, when I run the manytex (one from
miniglx and other from tests) under X/DRI the screen is rock solid and
manytex runs, however under solo, I get some odd flicker across the top
60 lines of my screen (perhaps the first 64 lines, half a box in
manytex)... I get the same running my own application, it happens at 1x
and 4x AGP,
I've been making my way steadily through register listings
(http://volodya-project.sourceforge.net/hw_script.php is helpful) but
cannot see any major difference, I'm starting to think maybe the kernel
framebuffer driver is doing something to interfere, I've switched off its
cursor to no effect, and I don't think it should be doing anything else...
Has anyone any ideas what could be causing this? I've got the RRG for the
M7 here but its pure needle in a haystack stuff :-)
