The dri configuration infrastructure is not present in any XFree86 or
XOrg release (AFAIK). You need to install DRI from a binary snapshot or
compile it from source. Both ways should install xdriinfo in
/usr/X11R6/bin.

Strange. Do you also get these warning when starting driconf? Maybe this
happens if setup.py can't connect to an X display. Anyway, if you have
pygtk-2 then you should really use driconf-0.2.2. It looks much nicer.
