Like I hinted XFree86 could be used to set the mode, then it would have to exit or step out of the way. The cuttrent setuid root aproch workes fine, thought it's less secure then a kernel based solution(that may never exist for some cards). > > -- > Earthling Michel Dänzer | Debian (powerpc), X and DRI > developer > Libre software enthusiast | http://svcs.affero.net/rm.php?r=daenzer > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by The 2004 JavaOne(SM) Conference > Learn from the experts at JavaOne(SM), Sun's Worldwide Java Developer > Conference, June 28 - July 1 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA > REGISTER AND SAVE! http://java.sun.com/javaone/sf Priority Code NWMGYKND > -- > _______________________________________________ > Dri-devel mailing list > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dri-devel > __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
