Attached are two shots of the mirrorblob hack from the xscreensaver 4.16 package, one rendered with LIBGL_ALWAYS_INDIRECT, one without. The hardware rendered image has some obvious triangles where there should be none and some kind of tail that grows out of the blob and flickers around the screen.
