Okay I've gotten myself a 9200 card that can do 8x, and I've a motherboard that can do it.. now I know some people will tell me 8x is of no practical use (but then neither is my mach64 :-)
I spotted a patch from Hui Yu via Michael at http://penguinppc.org/~daenzer/DRI/radeon-agp8x.diff Why haven't we merged this into the tree is there more work to be done? would it be nice for the X org release?
