I guess if I was only going to use that memory in kernel drm_pci_alloc would be fine. But I want to map the status page at least in the Xserver, maybe also in clients. BTW, I don't see any use of it in the via driver. But it is used by mach64. I also see that i810-i915 use pci_alloc_consistent directly. Is that portable to BSD?
