Hi. While the current Xv implementation is far better than the old one there are still a few glitches I noticed so far:
* 4 pixels always missing on the right side on the screen * The old "shadowing" effect is showed on certain conditions (depending on input sizes). I only tested a few sizes: 768 and smaller work, 924 (and probably greater) show that effect. I wanted to make this report because I noticed today that the "shadowing" effect still remains. I noticed it using the tv aplicattion "tvtime" and changing the horizontal resolution to 924. Unfortunately, I do not have any video file to test such big sizes. I'm using savage and common snapshots from 20041015. I hope these are not too old.
