I've created a bug 2057 with the current patch for tvout against CVS HEAD,
I've no idea if there are legal issues with merging this code into the tree, (I've heard rumours, would anyone care to back them up?) I'll be getting my mach64 laptop back up this week hopefully and I'll test this patch against it and the submit it for inclusion in the tree..
