well I was semi-committed to fixing this and adding some features to the
mach64 ddx, but mach64 laptop display died on me, and the simple cable
replacement didn't work so I suspect the inverter is bust... I might be
able to get it fixed, but it'll take a while and even then mach64 is down
my list of things..
