Summary: freeze when closing X and DRI enabled on i915
           Product: DRI
           Version: XOrg CVS
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: General
        AssignedTo: dri-devel@lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. enable DRI
2. close X, either by ctrl-alt-backspace, or by closing session in window
manager
3. machine freezes, not responding to keyboard, screen contents remain still
(background and cursor, sometimes a tile of random pixel apears at cursor
location.

This does not happen when DRI is disabled.

Otherwise DRI works, except that 3D performace seems to be lower than on
Windows.
