For the DRI you should use the latest CVS version. For the Xorg or XFree you can keep your distributions version. For the DRM use the one from CVS or from a recent kernel. You 2.6.11 should be fine. Build instructions are at http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/Building It should be enough to install the 3D drivers as described in that document in section 1.8.
