Which xscreensaver module is it where the lock-up occurs? Is it always the same
one?
Are you able to SSH into the computer when the hang occurs? If so, can you try
and attach gdb to the offending xscreensaver module and get a backtrace?
Are you able to reproduce this bug with a more recent DRM and client-side DRI
module? What kernel version are you running?
