I'm just trying to build modular X11R7 RC1, mostly I had no problem
building it, however my laptop uses via unichrome graphics. While trying
to build xf86-video-via I got an error message. I am using gentoo linux,
the driver uses an ebuild: x11-drivers/xf86-video-via-0.1.31.1-r1

Update libdrm to 1.0.5.

Thanks, but I already have 1.0.5 libdrm... also, following Luc Verhagen's from
unichrome.sf.net changet vai_drm.h version to one from drm cvs - no effect.

The problem seems to be that you have an old version of  via XvMC with a newer version of libDRM.
You might revert libDRM to 1.0.4, but then latest Mesa 6.4 won't build. You really need to update your
via XvMC / DDX sources to what's currently in CVS.
