Now it is harder to hang the machine, but still possible. The hang only
happens
when DRI is loaded, but it doesn't seem related to 3D. I can play
ppracer or pinball for an hour without problems. But grab the top
of a thunderbird window and resize it vigorously by shaking the mouse - and
the pc locks up within a minute!
This hang does not happen without DRI - all I get then is a flickering
window until I stop shaking the mouse.
Could there be some problem synchronizing 2D activity with DRI?
Some kind of race condition?
