-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Lately, the 3D driver on my laptop (iBook 2001 dual usb, powerpc, Debian GNU/Linux testing/unstable) has been slowing down in certain conditions.
glxgears runs fine, crack-attack has a good framerate until a red 'garbage block' comes down and armagetron is unplayably slow. I have checked my X log, and I found a weird error in it (see below). According to the old XFree86 log that was in the log directory, this error did not occur and had a "decent" framerate in OpenGL games. It would seem X has trouble allocating a range of 256 registers in IO space. I think this regression, if it is one, is younger than 3 months.
