Yes I understand that I need only the first one. And my problem is that first one. Since Xorg is moved to git, I am trying to get all of them one by one and of course that would be long enough to get full source from git.

But thanks anyway for making this wonderful code.

once you do the initial clone from then on updates should be fast enough,
doing clones after the first one should never be needed if you are just
following along..

git provides the developers with a lot of needed features from the version
control system, things like disconnected development, private branching,
changesets, etc.. these outweigh the bandwidth requirements...
