Hi, I've been playing the beautifull (semi)OSS RTS game Spring for a while now on R300, and I wondered if there is something bogging down the performance. Maybe a developer who likes this game could look at the used GL functions/extensions, and whether they are accelerated on R300, since I suspect something like this is slowing it down.
A radeon 7000 on windows outperforms my r300 powered X700. I have not tried this game with firegl for comparison. If more people tried it out maybe we could improve it's performance on open systems.
